We have a wide range of projects which are mainly focused in the following areas:

Rackleaze Community EngagmentEngaging with Communities

SVP has long been known for working with local communities at local wildlife sites. As well as the many events we run through out the year, we also focus on working with specific sectors of the community who may need a little extra support to enable them to get out into the countryside and enjoy it.

Providing Learning Resources

As well as running conservation courses through our contract with Adult Education, we try to support learning through all our activities.  We like to encourage schools to get involved at sites where we work regularly, and we also hope to provide opportunities for learning at all our events.

Protecting Local Biodiversity

Rackleaze Habitat Workshop

We work to protect a range of sites that are important local habitats or environments. For example, we protect and maintain a number of urban havens for wildlife. And as with all of our projects, there is a focus on community as well as on biodiversity, and we encourage local residents to get actively involved and appreciate the greenspaces on their doorsteps.
