Eco Shop - Jan 2021
Coronavirus information from Stroud Valleys Project
Amid the developing coronavirus situation, we want to reassure you of the actions we are taking as a responsible charity and shop.
- We have now closed the shop until further notice but we look forward to seeing you again as soon as possible.
Check back here to see when we can open again.
The health of our customers, our staff and our volunteers is our biggest priority. We are closely monitoring the guidance from Public Health England, the World Health Organisation and other bodies and endeavouring to follow their advice.
To help us achieve these aims we are making the following arrangements:
We are operating a Collection service, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your order and when you’d like to collect, or when you’d like to drop off your empty refill containers. Someone will get back to you.
Keep your eyes on our website www.stroudvalleysproject.org,
social media accounts and our shop window for future updates.
- With regret and with immediate effect, we have SUSPENDED THE PACKAGING RECYCLING SCHEMES for the moment which operate in the shop and we apologise for inconvenience this will cause to our customers.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE RECYCLING OUTSIDE OUR SHOP (as we won’t be here to deal with it)
We will regularly review the situation and post information here on our website and on our answerphone (01453 753358). Should you need to get hold of someone the answerphone will tell you how.
THANK YOU!

Our History
Opened in May 2011 to help provide unrestricted income for our charity, our shop sells a wide range of new eco products, which includes those that help around the house and garden, and gifts.
We like to stock environmentally versions of things customers buy regularly so please let us know of anything that we do not currently have which you would like us to stock. We can then look into whether we can!
We also sell bird boxes made by volunteers, new and second hand gardening tools, new and second hand wildlife books, a variety of cleaning products - including refills - and much more besides.
In addition we provide advice and support to the local community on volunteering with us, sustainable development, wildlife gardening and other environmental issues.
You can also find materials in the shop which support our other events including identification charts for orchids, newts, bats, birds and butterflies, and our ever popular origami butterfly sets.
