THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE POOR WEATHER FORECAST
Minchinhampton Common has been communally farmed for almost a thousand years, and the commoners (and their cattle) play a vital part in helping to maintain the health of the grassland habitat for people and other species to enjoy.
Join Stroud Valleys Project and hayward Mark Dawkins for a fascinating insight into this ancient, yet very much current, way of life.
This event is in collaboration with the National Trust and is part of our Landscapes of the Lark festival, which is supported by the Cotswold National Landscape’s Farming in Protected Landscapes fund.
Due to the proximity to livestock, this walk is not suitable for dogs.
