Join SVP, Trinity Rooms Community Hub, and rag rugger extraordinaire Sue Ratcliffe to learn an ancient art that’s perfect for today’s sustainably-minded crafter.
Rag rugging takes leftover scraps of fabric and repurposes them to make something beautiful in a creative way… it’s also lots of fun!
In this workshop, you’ll make an upcycled garland of rag rugged ‘tinsel’ that you can use again and again.
All tools and fabric will be supplied. If you would like to use particular colours, please bring along your own fabric scraps (fabric that is coloured on both sides is particularly good for rag rugging). You can also bring bells, baubles, ribbons – anything that feels festive to you!
This is a shared fundraiser with Trinity Rooms Community Hub and you can if you wish purchase lunch at the hub’s Eco Café.
