Riverwoods screening and discussion

Join the Severn Vale Catchment Partnership for an evening of beautiful cinematography and conversations about how collaboration, connectivity, and community action are vital to the people and wildlife who rely on the River Frome.

Narrated by Peter Capaldi, Riverwoods is a spectacular film following a river in Scotland; there are many parallels with our own River Frome.

Please join us in conversation after the film with members of the Severn Vale Catchment Partnership as we discuss the future of the Frome and how local communities are among the most influential groups in the conservation of our wonderful rivers.

The Severn Vale Catchment Partnership is a group of over 100 members, including conservation organisations, local authorities, recreational groups, and water companies. We're working collaboratively across the Severn Vale catchment to improve the health of the water environment and people’s connection to it.

Finalised in January 2023, the Vision and Strategic Action Plan will act as a guide for improving the health of the River Frome. A series of ambitious projects are being planned which will allow fish to migrate more easily, encourage and assist farmers to move towards regenerative farming practices, and work with local communities to monitor and clean up the river.

All profits from ticket sales will be used to fund projects that support the Wilder Frome vision.
