Stratford Park is a great resource for the community and for wildlife. Join Stroud Valleys Project and our team of experts to find out about the range of species that make the park their home. From bumblebees to birds, plants to pollinators, we want to find out more about the brilliant wildlife we have on our doorsteps.
A bioblitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time. We would love it if you could come along and lend a hand.
You are welcome to come for an hour or come for the whole event. We will be spotting different species types throughout the day, so if you’re big on birds, or potty about plants, you can choose the best time to join us.
8.30-9.30am Birds – Barbara Wood
10-11am Moth trap reveal & invertebrates – Graeme Davis
11.15am-12.15pm Bumble bees – Ron Rock

All sessions will start and end at the amphitheatre in the Sensory Garden in Stratford Park, (what3words - ///kebab.enlighten.fragment)
Contact tamsin@stroudvalleysproject.org if you have any questions.
This event is part of our Garden Guardians project, so there will also be a chance to find out about how you can help wildlife in your own green space.
