This event is closed to new bookings. We have some spaces on our Selsley spot on Monday available. Become a Stroud Skylark Spotter! As part of our Landscapes of the Lark festival, we are looking for some keen citizen scientists to help us understand the places on the commons where skylarks like toth nest.
Join Stroud Valleys Project for a morning stroll on Minchinhampton Common, where we will show you how to spot and identify skylarks and record them using the iRecord app.
No experience is necessary, just a keen eye and a willingness to join our new band of skylark spotters.
All ages are welcome to this FREE event, but children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, this event is not suitable for dogs.
Landscapes of the Lark is supported by the Cotswold National Landscape’s Farming in Protected Landscapes fund.
