Join grazier Paul Griffiths for an early evening walk around Edge Common. Edge Common is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and represents a great example of classic Cotswold unimproved Jurassic limestone grassland.
Paul will talk you through some of the fascinating history of this beautiful place, pointing out some of the common’s orchids and wildflowers along the way. He will also explain the management of cattle grazing on the common, which is essential for the maintenance of this important habitat.
We will be covering some fairly uneven ground so you will need suitable footwear. Unfortunately, due to the landscape, this event is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
Unfortunately, dogs are unable to join us on this walk.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO TAKE BOOKINGS FOR THIS EVENT.
Tickets: £7.00/Adults; £3.00/Child
