Join SVP and rag rugger extraordinaire Sue Ratcliffe to learn the ancient art of rag rugging: making things from rags. Rag rugging is a great way of taking leftover scraps of fabric and repurposing them to make something beautiful and practical in a fun and creative way. In this workshop, we’ll be learning to make a wreath in time for the Summer Solstice on Wednesday 21 June.
All tools and fabric will be supplied. If you’d like to use particular colours, please bring along your own fabric scraps to incorporate into your rag rugged wreath (coloured scraps that are coloured on both sides are particularly good for rag rugging).
Due to the location of this workshop, we cannot accommodate wheelchair users.
WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO TAKE BOOKINGS FOR THIS EVENT.
Tickets: £25 per person. This event is not suitable for those under the age of 16.
