Our aim is to protect and enhance the local environment by working with communities to embrace sustainability and boost biodiversity. Our public events throughout the year reflect this aim, strengthening the connection between people and nature.

Time out in nature for carers – Wednesdays from 15 September to 29 September. 1pm to 3:30pm (free)
Stroud Valleys Project is offering weekly sessions to carers in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere at a local wildlife site.
Discovering and observing nature, e.g. insects, bird life and small mammals, making habitats for wildlife e.g. by pruning, planting and making bird boxes, trying different natural crafts and arts, and even a canal canoe trip!
Plenty of time for sitting, chatting and tea!
No previous knowledge or experience needed
If you would like to bring the person you are caring for, please feel free but do get in touch with us so we can ensure we meet their needs.
Every Wednesday: 1.00 pm–3.30 pm (mornings as well, if there is demand)
All sessions are provided free of charge.
