Charity raffle offers prizes to please
Stroud’s conservation and community-building charity, Stroud Valleys Project, has launched this year’s Christmas raffle. The fundraising raffle, which takes place every year, has a wealth of wonderful prizes on offer, with tickets priced at £1 each. Tickets are available from the SVP eco shop in Threadneedle Street in Stroud.
The top prize is family tickets for Forest Green Rovers FC – along with pies! Second prize is a £50 hamper donated by Vegicatessen, the new vegan shop and cafe in Five Valleys; and third prize is a pendant by local jeweller Heather Coleman, along with a polish of a wedding ring or another piece of jewellery.
Other prizes include a Winter Warmer Bundle from local author Katie Fforde, who also produces a range of homewares; vouchers to eat at Karibu, Loganberry, Felt Café, Salt Bakehouse; Tomari Gi and the Crown and Sceptre; sustainable stationery from James and Owen; a British-made jumper from Mosaic; books from Hawthorn Press; vouchers for SVP’s eco shop donated by JPR Environmental; a 2023 calendar by photographer Deb Roberts; a tote bag from Humphries and Begg; a hoodie and umbrella from Stroud Brewery; and an eco duvet donated by Saymor Furnishings.
